This document identifies what data the BetterPages app ("the app") collects, how it collects that data, and the uses of that data. It also explains the data retention policies and how the user can revoke consent and/or delete the data.
Our primary goals in collecting information are to provide and improve BetterPages app, to enable you to enjoy and easily navigate the app. All information we collect is anonymous and can’t be used to identify you. Information is used and collected as follows:
- Your Profile on BetterPages
- Tracking Information
- User Event
- Debug and Crash Information
The user enters information about books manually or using an automatic online search feature in the app. Sessions are recorded manually by the user using the app. User events as well as debug and crash information are tracked automatically and continuously during normal usage of the app.
Listed below are all third parties that receive any information from the app.
- Google Crashlytics: In order to track crashes and general usage the app will share crash data, user events as well as book and session information with Google Crashlytics.
BetterPages allows user to share their data on social media using the Apple “Share” feature. This feature may collect your internet protocol address, which page you are visiting, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Once you share your content on third party social media services like Facebook or Twitter, your interactions with these will be governed by the privacy statement of those companies.
